Perseworks operates an OpenAI-compatible AI API gateway. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using the service you agree to this policy.
Account information (your email, used for sign-in and account identification); API usage metadata (request time, model called, status, token / second usage and credits spent); device and network information (IP address, user-agent, access time); API-key usage records (creation and last-used time, call counts). For payments we receive only the transaction reference returned by our payment processor — we do not collect or store your card number.
To fulfil a request, your input (prompt, and any reference images/video you provide) is transmitted to the third-party model provider (ByteDance / Volcano Ark) to generate the result, which is returned to you. In normal operation we do not persistently store your request inputs — they are transmitted transiently to the upstream provider during processing. However, requests flagged and blocked by content moderation may be retained for a period for human review, appeals and security auditing. The upstream provider’s handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Only to provide and operate the service, manage accounts and billing, run risk-control and content moderation, meet legal/compliance obligations, and provide support. We do not sell your personal information. To complete a request, parameters are sent to the upstream model provider; to complete a payment, necessary transaction details are sent to the payment processor.
Model provider: ByteDance / Volcano Ark (generates the output). Payment processing: our card / Alipay / WeChat Pay provider. Hosting, CDN and security: our cloud and edge providers. Email delivery for sign-in codes. Each processes data only to provide its function.
Because the models are operated by a provider in mainland China, your request inputs are processed in China to generate output. Other data may be processed on servers outside your country. Such transfers are subject to applicable data-protection laws, and we apply appropriate safeguards. If you submit personal data of others (e.g. a real person’s likeness), you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so.
We use strictly necessary cookies / local storage for sign-in sessions and security. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, and account closure. Contact us at the address below; after verifying your identity we will respond within about 15 business days. Financial and audit records are retained for the period required by law.
Data is stored on secured cloud servers and transmitted over TLS. API keys are stored hashed / encrypted and shown only in part in the interface. We apply access controls and audit logging. Personal information is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes collected, then deleted or anonymised. No internet transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
