Perseworks provides an OpenAI-compatible API that relays your requests to third-party AI model providers (including ByteDance / Volcano Ark models such as Seedance and Doubao) and returns their output. We are a gateway: we do not train or operate the underlying models, and the quality, accuracy, legality and safety of generated content depend on those upstream providers. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any guarantee of uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free operation.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the information you provide and for all activity under your account. You may sign in by email one-time code or supported single sign-on (e.g. Google).
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys confidential. All usage and charges incurred with your key are your responsibility. If you suspect a key is compromised, rotate it immediately and notify us. We may throttle, freeze or terminate accounts showing abuse, fraud, bulk-registration or resource abuse.
You must comply with all applicable laws and must not use the service to generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors (CSAM), violent-extremist, fraudulent, or that impersonates or depicts a real person without their consent (including deepfakes). You must not circumvent rate limits, quotas or moderation, or attack the platform. Requests may be screened and blocked by automated moderation; credits spent on blocked requests are not refunded.
You are granted access to the generated output through our API only. You may build and sell your own products, services, and content on top of our API. You may not, without our prior written consent, access, extract, mirror or reverse-engineer the underlying models, weights, or upstream provider endpoints, nor resell, sublicense, or provide your API access to third parties as a competing model or API-gateway service. Attempting to obtain direct model access in order to bypass or resell around the platform is a material breach.
Output is generated by third-party models and is subject to those providers’ terms and usage policies. We make no representation that output is accurate, original, non-infringing or fit for any purpose. You are solely responsible for how you use generated content, including obtaining any rights, consents or licenses required for real people, trademarks or copyrighted material, and for complying with AI-content labeling laws where they apply.
The service is prepaid: you purchase credits and are charged per actual usage (per output second for video, per token for chat) at the prices shown on the pricing page and console. Prices, models and rate limits may change; material changes will be posted or emailed. Applicable taxes are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased, except as required by law or for duplicate / erroneous charges. See the Refund Policy for details.
The platform — our interface, code, documentation, and trademarks — belongs to us. Rights in the output you generate are governed by the upstream providers’ terms; we claim no rights in it. You retain rights in the inputs (prompts, reference media) you submit, and you represent that you have the right to submit them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and all output are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including lost profits, data or goodwill) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you actually paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms or of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms, suspected abuse or fraud, non-payment, or legal requirement. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, or resolved by arbitration in Hong Kong where the parties so agree.
